A range of checkweighers and diverting systems integrated into the slicing line to provide high accuracy portion control. Incorporating feedback to the slicer and portion tracking systems enabling individual portions to be highlighted for correction without removal from the slicing line creating optimum efficiency.
SCANNING - PROACTIVE CONTROL
Either via a separate module behind the slicer or integrated via an “on board” space saving system on later generation machines. Scanners are available with the latest LED illumination technology or X-ray for products with internal cavities such as continental cheeses. Available in mono or multiple lane execution and up to 750mm wide and 1200mm long depending on the application.
VARIO & VACUUM GRIPPERS
Products of differing sizes and lengths can be fed towards the blade independently, either reactively according to checkweigher feedback or using pre-slice scan data. Available in up to 4 independent tracks to enable optimum accuracy, yield recovery and efficiency.
A wide range of product designs are possible for shaping, spreading or mixing portions or party trays. Overlapping, side shingles, rounds, oval and novel shapes are a few of the limitless possibilities.
Fast and efficient insertion of plastic, parchment or paper either in-between individual slices or underneath the complete portions. This maintains the integrity of delicate, thin-sliced, high-value products and assists when ease of separation is required.
Automatically and hygienically removes casings from sausage and cheese products giving continuous product flow. Keeps peeled and unpeeled product strictly separated - with removed casings remaining in an unpeeled zone. Safe and flexible with fast changeovers.
A compact and repeatable overlapping system, which can overlap multiple shingles into a single portion. Can be incorporated as a standalone unit into a manually packed line, or as part of an automated infeeding system.
The Textor SmartOverlapper is a newly developed simple overlapper. This allows lateral overlapping of portions to be implemented in the smallest possible space.
To enable you to maintain blades in house, there are a number of Weber developed sharpening solutions. The standalone KSG-470 allows for round blades to be quickly honed, on a small mobile unit. The latest weSHARP 7000 sharpening centre can handle both round and involute blades of all sizes on one machine. Utilising RFID technology, individual blades can be sharpened using specified parameters via automatic program selection.
All Weber slicing blades are made in house, at the manufacturing centre in Germany. The research and development that goes into our blade technology ensures that the quality and durability of our knives remains unsurpassed. This expertise can also be transferred to other blade types on different slicing machine manufactures.
WEBER POWER CONTROL
The latest operating system from Weber, across all modules uses intuitive dashboard functionality much like most modern smartphones. This makes it easy to use and instantly familiar to operators.
Textor, part of the Weber Group, designs and manufactures a range of more cost effective, simpler slicing solutions, but with the same focus on hygiene and performance.
